Rainbow Falls

Photographed in the Mammoth Lakes region of Northern California, these falls will present a rainbow if you are there at the right time. We were, but the rainbow did not appear. Groups of people started arriving and I decided not to wait any longer. Since there were some lovely flowers on one side of the falls, I posed those in the foreground, the falls in the middle ground and a single cloud in a blue sky in the background. This gave me four layers of subjects and a marvelous image.
