Sabrina Lake Stream with Back Lit Aspens

There is some beautiful country off Route 395 in central California. But this lake and the surrounding countryside "blew my socks off!" The trees were changing color and the creeks and streams were flowing. A great combination. I walked right by this scene on the way up to the lake but it caught my eye while on the return trip. I waited for the sun to come a littler lower to back light the trees as much as I dared (I was shooting into the sun), used my wide brimmed hat to shade the lens, and took the shot. I wasn’t disappointed.
